Great staff here. They are very friendly helpful and experienced. Great facilities and equipment. I have just completed my vehicle loading crane and dog man courses.
My tutors Robbie (vehicle loading crane) and Mark and Gerry (Dogman) were awesome they made the whole experience worthwhile. Their skills knowledge and industry experience made the learning interesting and achievable. Big thanks to those guys.

The onsite accommodation is also good comfortable and great value for money. I highly recommend Ascent training and would happily study here again.

Theodore Calabrese is a great teacher and really knows his stuff. And a big thank you to Kevin for running the show in the background and sorting out anything I required when onsite, especially after another company in the area pulled out last minute. Ascent Training truly stepped up when I needed it. These are the guys you want to be training with. If I could, I’d give them 6 stars that’s exactly what they deserve! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very good place to learn, my trainer and assessor Theo was very knowledgeable and able to explain things in a practical way the whole class could understand, the owner Kevin is great as well and guided me with what courses were fit for my career path.
The cranes and equipment are new and the facility’s are well maintained.

I had the privilege to sit my dogman ticket at Ascent training. Was under the tutelage of Theo and Irish Mark for theory and practical. At first glance the theory assessment was daunting and intimidating but with Theo’s tutoring and knowledge also mixed with his awesome people skills and being able to relate the questions to scenarios or situations that were easier to understand and answer made the theory side of the course a lot easier than expected. Theo also took time during classes to help guide the students who weren’t ‘book’ learners. Theo doing that made the students who struggled understand easier and were able to grasp a hold of the course.

Irish Mark was awesome his enthusiasm when out on the floor was great but also his ability to teach the class in a calmer way that we understood easier. If any of us were struggling in each way Mark was able to give us little ‘tips and tricks’ that we could try and made it easier to understand in our own way. I also came across Jerry who was helping instruct with our practical dogman course. Jerry was also awesome and was able to also give tips and tricks that made it easier to grasp the concepts of what we were struggling with at the time.

Theo, Irish Mark and Jerry. Absolutely appreciate and am really grateful to have crossed paths and been under your guys wings the last week.

Great training centre with excellent facilities. I’ve completed a few courses here and just finished the Basic Rigging course with John.

John was a great instructor – very knowledgeable and able to explain everything in a practical way that makes it easy to understand. No matter what question was asked, he always had a clear explanation.

Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to complete their high-risk training. I’ll definitely be back for future courses.

In recent months l have completed 5 tickets three of them being high risk. The trainers l had, being Theo, Mark and Gavin are very good at their craft and very passionate about what they do and how they go about engaging the students and proudly representing Ascent Training Solutions.
I commend them and also to the head office administration and management staff. Sueanne handled predominantly all my processes and provided wonderful guidance and prompt and clear communication. Her bedside manner was tremendous.

The best place to do all your tickets, great trainer’s, very knowledgeable and helpful with all aspects of my training, I did my basic rigging and intermediate rigging with them. I found the training had a good balance between theory and practice. I highly recommend these guys..

Training was fun. All study materials were provided to prepare for the test and the trainer was there to assist with clarifying some of the terms. Practicals lifting equipment were also there with no issues

Mark Lynch was my trainer for the dogman course and he really helped me and the whole class. I went into my theory test very confident because the lessons were full of information. In the practical lessons Mark really helped me understand dogging and how to sling loads up safely.

Ascent Training is a well oiled machine run by a team of experienced professionals who really know their stuff. Here’s the thing though, what makes Ascent Training unique is the people who pass on their skill's, knowledge and experience the same way a benevolent family member would. They want us to succeed. I was encouraged to dig deep at times and even experienced some tough love when I repeated a mistake with the whistle. Anyway, after 7 full days and 5 nights, I passed my assessments in Dogman, C6 crane and Forklift. Thank you Kevin and team!
